Shelbie Fredenhagen and Pine Knoll Farm offer a unique experience for the enthusiastic student. Each session can be as long or as short as you would like. This can be combined with a stay on site in a luxury airbnb or on its own as a standalone intensive day. We offer (3) options:

• 1 hour lesson – Which includes learning about the care, behavior, groundwork, and riding in rhythm with your horse.
• 2 hour lesson – Expanding your awareness of the horse and onto Harmony.
• 3 hour lesson – This includes an in depth lecture on equine ethology, biomechanics of the horse, and gives you experience in training your eye and furthering your ability in horse handling.

Shelbie designs individual lesson plans depending on the work you are currently doing (options for beginner riders or people with no horse experience available).

Bring your own horse for this experience or ask us about the availabilty of lesson horses or ponies.

This is a holistic horsemanship and riding package that may include the following components:

• The emotions of the horse

• Dressage lecture modules that can be customized to what you and your horse are working on
• Round table discussions on a variety of topics including horse husbandry animal communication, position on and off the saddle to increase body awareness
