PRIVATE, CUSTOMIZED RETREAT
I just got back from a stay at Pine Knoll Farm and wow, what an incredible retreat. From the moment I pulled up to the gate and saw the rolling green hills and the horses, I felt an immediate sense of peace. I came because I’d been craving clarity around a big career transition, and honestly, Gillian’s work blew me away. She’s so knowledgeable, intuitive, wise, and gifted at what she does. The session with Domino, one of the ponies, helped me see exactly where I was feeling stuck, and somehow, the horse felt it too. I didn’t come in with many expectations, other than wanting to connect more with myself, but I left completely shifted. I already want to bring my whole team back. If you’re thinking about going, just book it. You’ll understand once you’re there.

PRIVATE, CUSTOMIZED HORSEMPOWERMENT DAY FOR CORPORATE TEAM
We are grateful for the amazing HorsEmpowerment experience our entire team had with Gillian, Cathy, Domino, Puzzle and The Sherrif at the beautiful and peaceful Pine Knoll Farm. What made this Equine Experiential Learning event truly exceptional was how seamlessly Gillian customized the program to align with our company’s core values and amplify our unique team strengths. This intentional approach helped us connect the dots between our day-to-day work and the larger mission our team and company are striving toward. Gillian and team have created a safe and peaceful place for individuals to step off the proverbial work treadmill, stretch beyond their own comfort zone, and into a space for real personal insight and growth. Thank you for your partnership in making this an unforgettable team experience!

MINDFUL RIDER RETREAT: HOW WE SHOW UP MATTERS (PUBLIC)
I highly recommend this for anyone wanting a better connection and understanding of their horses and themselves. After an informative talk on the nervous system, there was a yoga practice. I haven’t done much yoga, but these positions were not difficult and were customizable to what your body is able to do. Cathy did a great job of explaining and creating a peaceful relaxed atmosphere.
Next, we spent some time with Domino the Peace Pony. In the arena at liberty Domino and I made our way through the obstacles together. There were times when he would stop and I would have to find a way to reconnect with him. Gillian was there to help with great suggestions and observations. Later, Jenny, who is an animal communicator, asked him why he kept stopping. Domino replied that he was showing me the blocks and disconnects I’m having with my own horses. It’s true, he’s right. I’ve been having trouble even just leading my horse, Tango. I’m writing this a little over a week after the retreat, and the communication between Tango and me has noticeably improved thanks to what I learned from Gillian and Domino.
After lunch was the session on animal communication. Jenny shared some of her experiences and insight. She suggested books, websites and classes for further learning. I thoroughly enjoyed this talk and loved sharing thoughts and ideas with this like-minded group!
The final session was with Shelby F. She shared exercises which help remove tension in your body starting with your toes, and how this affects rein contact. Riding Harmony the mechanical horse showed me how rider position, pelvic tilt, or any small change can affect the horse.
Very nice day of learning in beautiful surroundings.
